WOOD CLADDING (INTERNAL)

KEY FEATURES:

-Available in Scandinavian wood.

The wood is intensively heat treated during its production drying it out to its core, causing all moisture and resin to be removed from the timber.

-Pressure treated through the entire grain with a water-based wood preservative. These preservative components bond with the wood structure, providing long-term protection and thus, lengthening life span.

Heat treated wood is much more porous than untreated wood, vastly improving its insulating properties. The structure of timber is also cellular which is brilliant for providing natural insulation. Heat will also be retained during the winter months when it’s colder.

-Resistant to Rot and FungiDue to the heating process breaking down hemicellulose, the wood doesn’t contain the appropriate nutrients to allow rot and fungi to grow and develop.

-Natural thus environmentally friendly making it both renewable and biodegradable.

WOOD CLADDING (EXTERNAL)

KEY FEATURES:

-Available in a variety of wood types including Scandinavian Redwood, Western Red Cedar, Sweet Chesnut and Siberian Larch, all providing beautiful colouring and texture.
